L.U.I.Lying awake in the light of some lava lamp, and nothing else.L.U.I.
Rachel sleeps next to me. burned, worn out, but with a coy grin. I look at her, and fall asleep.
An hour later, seven past four, and she's in the bathroom, bleeding through her dress, puking her self into the toilet, sobbing hard enough to rattle my teeth.
I take her up in my arms (arms with puncture wounds) and ask what's her problem.
She calms and looks at me with falsely lucid eyes. she thinks she knows the world, and she talks at me in riddles

A Rag Doll. Non-Action Figure.I知 a shattered ego, A dry weed, There痴 nothing you can do.A Rag Doll. Non-Action Figure.
I知 a broken water main, Water spouting from my ears. I知 a crevice in the cement, An exercise in hopelessness.
I知 a gnarled tree root, A blind salamander, Feeling for some light, Mouth open, head tilted back, Waiting for everything to rain down.
I知 a man made of putty, In an assembly line, Eyes glazed like honey, I come bearing rotten fruit,
For me and no-one else. I come, slipping on clouds, never falling back to Earth.

Blimps, Balloons, Hollow HeadsWe stood as still as possible, Balancing on a dinner plate, As giant red balloons popped in our face.Blimps, Balloons, Hollow Heads
We inhaled the helium, Laughed like clowns in fast-forward. We took it like men,
We took it like dogs.
You cracked our heads, Spilled our guts, Scattered us wide, all over. We smiled like clowns, As giant red balloons loomed over us, A troupe of volatile monoliths.
But some of us our sick, We want more. To be a brilliant light, To be where bluebirds fly, To be in a world without balloons.

The Woman ThiefIn the black bag of night, Under the leer of pearly stars, I go riding. The Woman Thief
In my ashen, quivering hands, A giant sepia sack, Here I come.
You're at home, But the lights are out, Like a midnight salamander, I slip in.
A couple screams, Telephone dials, Bicycle bells, And now you're mine.
In my cozy little home, You've calmed down, I've given you a drink, Wiped the wisdom from your tears.
And many years later I still think, You once laughed (and what a laugh!), You once smiled (bright as a sunsp

Love is like a friendship caught on fire.
In the beginning a flame, very pretty,
Often hot and fierce,
But still only light and flickering.
As love grows older,
Our hearts mature
And our love becomes as coals,
Deep-burning and unquenchable.
Muchly appreciated indeed.
What lies behind us, and what lies before us are
tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Listening to: Pink Floyd- Dogs
3:06 in the AM here, not a bit tired, and I'm a little concerned. I usually lay down around 3 every morning and stay awake till 3:30-4, wake up the next day 11:00. Yeah, it's about 7-8 hours which isn't bad, it just feels really awkward and it's gonna be hell when school starts up.
Also, wish I had a scanner, or a camera, or some drawing talent. Gotta admit, I'm getting a bit tolerable at drawing, sketching...But unless I transfer any skill at it into Photoshop drawing, you won't be getting much besides maybe some more Photomanipulations and some equally boring stuff.
This song is pretty goddamn long, but the ending makes it worth it.
"Who was given a pat on the back, who was breaking away from the pack. Who was only a stranger at home, who was ground down in the end. Who was found dead on the phone, who was dragged down by the stone."
Sure, my quick soulless typing doesn't do it justice, but man, it sure does rock.
I got through everything, and found that I had to make a preview for the image since it was a .psd. Now, how exactly do I go about doing this? Do I merely make a copy of the image and resize that (which I did)?
Well, I did that, and when I finally submitted my work, it was much smaller than the actual work, it was more along the size of the preview image. I checked it over and I had put the right images in the right place, but still, it's much too small.
If you can, I'd like some advice, thanks!
